We cordially congratulate Prof. Jan Torzewski from the Klinikum Kempten on winning 2nd place at the German Medical Award.
He was awarded in the category 'Medical Innovation Practices & Clinics - Cardiology' for the application of the innovative CRP apheresis after myocardial infarction. He prevailed against almost all colleagues, in particular also from university hospitals and heart centers.
Meanwhile, there have also been numerous reports about this in the press. Articles about Prof. Torzewski's award for the application of CRP apheresis appeared in the Presse Augsburg, the Märkischen Allgemeine and in various press releases.
The 1st prize was awarded to Prof. Dr. Sebastian Kelle from the Cardiac MRI Core Lab of the German Heart Center Berlin, with which Pentracor is also scientifically linked in the CAMI1 study.
