Today Superillu published an interview with a heart attack patient and his doctor. Our managing director also has his say in the article. The original article can be found on pages 74 and 75 of issue 08/2022.

Since the article is not available online, here is our summary:

The 48-year-old patient reports on the first symptoms of an impending heart attack and how he was treated a few days later in the Havelhöhe Community Hospital. Thanks to the use of CRP apheresis, he was able to leave the hospital five days after the heart attack and was physically fit again a few weeks later.

His treating doctor Dr. medical Fabrizio then explains how the therapy works and there is a section on possible other areas of application, such as COVID-19.

Information on the function of CRP apheresis can be found here: https://www.pentracor.de/en/crp-apheresis/

There was a recent article in the Ärztezeitung about the experiences with COVID-19: https://www.aerztezeitung.de/Nachrichten/Erfolge-mit-CRP-Apherese-bei-schwerer-COVID-19-Pneumonie-426103.html
